Get it, O-live Florals… I love florals!? I know, a little cheesy, but sometimes the titles are the hardest thing to write on a blog post. 🙂
After an early wake up call this morning, I am officially back home from NYFW! It’s safe to say I had the time of my life and I learned so much from my first experience. I met the most amazing fellow bloggers, and I can’t wait to share with you all in my full recap coming to the blog later this week! Be sure to stay tuned!
I took the day off from blogging yesterday (I think it’s great to refresh and take a break from time to time) because I had a girl’s day with one of my best friends who lives in NYC. I’m not going to lie, yesterday was probably one of my favorite days of fashion week, even though I only had one event.
We started the day off with brunch at Russ and Daughters, stopped for cocktails at Mr. Purple, and ended the day with ice cream at 10 Below and a quick shopping hour at Bloomingdales. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better way to catch up and have girl time. If you ever visit NYC, you HAVE to stop at 10 Below. They roll the ice cream into what looks like skinny pinwheels, and they fill the middle with all these incredible toppings. I definitely recommend the smores!
Alright, enough about NYC for now, I don’t want to give anything else away and spoil my recap. I’m a little backlogged on content at the moment, so this outfit is actually from two weekends ago while Drew and I were in Greenville for his sister’s wedding. I have to admit, this outfit is a little summery, but you can definitely pair the olive camisole and floral shorts with some of my Fall favorites (jean jacket, booties or distressed skinny jeans) to wear the separates in colder temps! I have this olive camisole in so many colors and wear them all the time! It’s great quality and only $30!
Hope you all had a great weekend, too!
