Hello, 2017! Today’s post is fully dedicated towards the closing of 2016, and how great of a year it was for Here’s The Skinny. It was the first full year of my blog, and I feel so blessed with how quickly it has grown thanks to your love and support. I could not be more excited for the start of a new year, but I feel that it is only appropriate that we close out 2016 with my top-ten favorite looks as well as sharing some exciting new features to look forward to thanks to the recent HTS blog redesign.

You may have already noticed a big change for Here’s The Skinny in this new year… the blog recently went through a website redesign. A special thanks to Lindsay Humes of White Oak Creative and Jordan Waltz from Studio 9 Co. They did an amazing job fulfilling the vision I had for Here’s The Skinny, and I am so happy with the new look.

Some new features you may enjoy thanks to this redesign is easier navigation for shopping my looks (including The Shop where you can shop by Instagram (without being signed up for LTK), shop by blog post, or shop my favorite products), an interactive travel page sortable by destination including access to all my travel guides, and finally a mega menu which allows you to view posts by category and subcategory for seamless navigation of my content among many other features. Also, don’t forget to sign-up for my newsletter list to ensure you’re receiving all my latest posts. I have some exciting new content coming to you all in the New Year, and I don’t want you to miss out. 🙂

I hope you enjoy the new design! Please let me know your thoughts on the new site in the comment section below, as I always value your feedback!

A look back on 2016 with my personal top-ten favorite looks from the year:

  2. Bohemian Blues
  3. St. Thomas Sunshine
  4. Chic Overall Dress in NYC
  5. Summer Stripes and Floral Crop Top

Which look was your favorite?

I hope you had an amazing weekend bringing in the New Year! One of my goals for 2017 is to continue to step out of the box and be willing to take risks no matter how big or small. I took a leap of faith in starting Here’s The Skinny, and I’m so thankful for where it has brought me thus far. I’d love to know what you’re most looking forward to this next year and your personal goals for 2017. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!

The new blog design looks SO good! I did my re-design last year on the 1st & it was so nice going into the new year with a fresh design that I loved!

Congratulations on the site redesign. It looks fantastic! I haven’t been reading your blog for long but I’m loving all the looks you compiled into this post. It’ll be so much fun to follow your style even more in this new year!
