For day 4 of HTS Valentine’s Week, I’m sharing an outfit for one of my all-time favorite Valentine’s dates (or really any date for that matter), a movie date! I’ve had a lot of practice at finding the perfect outfit for a movie date, and what I’ve found is that it is best to choose practicality and comfort. Though dresses and skirts are your “normal” Valentine’s Day attire, no one wants to be sitting that long, uncomfortable and miserable. 🙂 Come on, don’t pretend like that short dress is truly comfortable.
For a movie Valentine’s date I’d recommend something similar to this cozy pink sweater. It is going to keep you warm and comfortable, but it’s also got some detail and flare thanks to the cutout detail. You can always add a little sass by pairing it with some skinny jeans and pointed toe pumps like I did in these photos. I chose to wear my hair in a braid as opposed to a pony tail because it drives me crazy when my pony tail drives my head forward when leaning back in the movie seat. See, I told you I’ve had some practice at this one. Don’t forget to add a bold lip, too. My Colour Pop Mars worked perfect, and you can get it for under $6. It’s long lasting and will stay all day, literally. I had to scrub to get this lipstick off my face.
Drew and I leave for our big vacation tonight, and I am so excited. It has been a busy couple of weeks and we are both in need of some relaxation. You’ll have to tune in to my Instagram (@baileyschwartz) to see where we are going. Hint: there will be lots of sunshine! P.S. I’ll be linking everything I’m packing in the center of my home page in my coveted favorites, so if you see anything you like during my trip, be sure to check back there for shop details! Or as always, you can visit my SHOP page to see where something is from in my latest Instagram posts. When you shop this way, you don’t have to be signed up for @liketoknow.it!
Don’t forget to tune back in for my last day of HTS Valentine’s Week. Tomorrow’s date might surprise you. XoXo.
