You have no idea what your date entails. You could simply be going to dinner like a traditional Valentine’s Day, or perhaps you’re spending time outside in the cold like visiting the zoo all day, or even going sky diving. Who truly knows? Right?
If your Valentine has told you he is going to surprise you on Valentine’s Day, then you’re probably thinking, “How in the world will I know what to wear??” If it was a surprise Valentine’s date for me, I would wear something that is comfortable, yet still cute, and practical yet still catches the eye and makes me feel good about what I am wearing.
I feel this outfit is the perfect look for a surprise Valentine. The OTS top is very trendy and chic, yet still comfortable and practical, and the pops of color in the scarf (only $25) and red purse are the perfect amount of flare to stay “safe” in your Valentine’s Day outfit. In other words, if you have no idea what you’re in for, I don’t recommend pulling out the shortest skirt or dress you have in your closet. You may end up embarrassed that you’ve over dressed, or find yourself running a marathon in heels. Not the date I had in mind. Hopefully your Valentine gives you some kind of hint as to what your date is, but if he doesn’t, you can bet this outfit is a safe bet for your upcoming date. 🙂
If you follow me on social media, you’ve probably seen that I just arrived in Key West last night. Drew and I are so excited to enjoy some sunshine and cocktails, and are in need of some relaxation. We’ve never been to Key West, though, so if you have any recommendations of what to do and especially where to eat, please let us know in the comment section below. (We stumbled along The Stoned Crab last night and had the most amazingggg seafood, like wow.) We are only here for a couple of days and want to make the most of it.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
