Today’s look is one I wore while touring Stowe during my trip to Vermont. This day was one of my favorites ever because Vanessa and I woke up to and ordered far too much room service at Stowe Mountain Lodge, and then we went our to explore the downtown area but not before making a stop at Cold Hollow Cider Mill and this beautiful covered bridge. I actually have a funny story about this bridge. Vanessa kept claiming it was a landmark and that we needed to go visit here. I didn’t believe her (AT ALL), and thought it was so silly she wanted to take pictures in front of it. Well, believe it or not, she was right. It’s actually a famous bridge with a scary haunted story. How appropriate a few days after Halloween!
There are many stories, but apparently a girl jumped off the bridge after her fiance left her at the altar, and now she still comes back to haunt the bridge looking for her long lost love. You’re supposed to drive through the bridge quickly so that she doesn’t jump on your car, haha! It was hilarious because so many people believed the story and multiple people floored through the bridge in their cars when we were standing here. It cracked us up after we realized they weren’t trying to run us over. 🙂
Anyways – this cardigan is no doubt the ‘it’ cardigan for Fall. It’s the perfect Fall color and super cozy thanks to the chenille fabric. I received so many questions when I posted it at Cold Hollow Cider Mill on my Instagram. It keeps going in and out of stock so keep an eye out on it if you’ve been dying to have it. In the meantime, you can shop some similar ones HERE, HERE, and HERE. Thanks for stopping by!
